What's included in post-launch support?

Bug fixes are free for at least one month after launch, and longer for larger projects: two to three months on a recent member portal with online payments, so we could confirm everything worked through a full billing cycle. After that, support is optional: hourly as needed, or a monthly support plan starting at $375 for 5 hours.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Most projects are paid in four equal milestone payments of 25%: usually the first at kickoff, then one as each phase is shown to you and approved, with the last before launch. Invoices are due within 10 days. Larger projects can use a custom schedule.

What if my project doesn't fit these categories?

No problem! These are starting points. We create custom proposals for unique projects. Reach out and tell us what you need and we'll put together a custom proposal with a clear quote.

Do prices include hosting and domain?

Development costs don't include hosting or domain registration. Your domain is registered in your name, and hosting, database and email services are billed to you directly by the providers. For a web app with a database and email, that usually runs about $100-$250 a month. We handle the setup as part of the project.

How long does each type of project take?

Timelines vary based on complexity and scope. Starter websites: 2-4 weeks. Business websites: 4-8 weeks. Custom apps: 3-6 months. MVPs: 2-4 months. We'll provide a detailed timeline in your custom proposal.

Who owns the finished website or app?

You do. Once the final payment is made, the code, designs, database structure and other deliverables are yours. If a project starts on our hosting or code accounts for convenience, we move it to yours whenever you ask. We keep the right to show non-confidential parts of the work in our portfolio.

What if the project changes along the way?

Changes to the agreed scope are discussed and agreed in writing before work on them starts, with any effect on cost and timeline spelled out. Each milestone is shown to you on a staging or live site, and you have five business days to review it and ask for revisions.
