E-commerce Solutions That Convert Visitors Into Customers

Online store development for businesses that want a store that's quick to shop and simple to run. We build custom storefronts on Next.js, or customize Shopify when it fits better. We built Gas Lit Legacy's online store and have maintained it since it launched in July 2025.

  • Custom storefronts on Next.js, or Shopify stores customized for you
  • Card checkout through PCI-compliant processors like Stripe
  • Crypto and payment-app checkout when cards aren't an option
  • Inventory that tracks stock and blocks orders it can't fill
  • An admin for orders, customers, discount codes and sales reports

E-commerce Challenges We Solve

Listing products is the easy part. Here are the problems that cost stores sales and owners time, and how we handle them.

Challenge: Low Conversion Rates

Our Solution: Shoppers leave when a store is slow, hard to search or long at checkout. We keep product pages clear, add filters that match how people shop, show shipping and returns up front, and keep checkout short.

Challenge: Slow Site Performance

Our Solution: We compress images, load below-the-fold content only when it's needed, serve pages from a global edge network and keep scripts lean. Then we check speed with Lighthouse on mobile before launch.

Challenge: Complex Inventory Management

Our Solution: Our stock tracking updates with each order, puts stock back when an order is cancelled and refuses orders it can't fill. On Gas Lit Legacy's store, every pack size from 3.5 g to 112 g draws from one stock count per product.

Challenge: Payment Processing Issues

Our Solution: Card payments run through PCI-compliant processors like Stripe, so card details never touch your server. When cards aren't an option, as for some regulated products, we build other ways to pay, like the Solana Pay crypto checkout on Gas Lit Legacy's store.

Challenge: Running the Store Takes Too Much Time

Our Solution: You shouldn't need a developer to change a price or run a sale. We build an admin for products, orders, customers and discount codes, with revenue reports by week, month, quarter or year.

Why E-commerce Businesses Choose Us

A Store We Built and Still Run

We built and launched Gas Lit Legacy's online store in July 2025 and still maintain it. That work included a full brand redesign in 2026.

Designed to Sell

Conversion optimization starts with the basics: clear photos and prices, filters that match how shoppers search, a short checkout, and shipping and return details where buyers look for them.

Fast on Phones

We design every page for the phone first and check speed with Lighthouse on mobile before launch.

Secure Checkout

Card details stay with PCI-compliant processors. Prices are recalculated on the server, so an order total can't be changed in the browser.

Built to Grow

Adding products, payment methods or features later doesn't mean starting over.

Support After Launch

Bug fixes are free for at least one month after launch, longer for larger projects. After that, you can get help hourly as needed or on a monthly plan from $375 for 5 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about working with us.

Should I use Shopify or build a custom e-commerce solution?

Shopify suits many stores: it's quick to set up, reliable and has a large app ecosystem. Go custom when you need something Shopify doesn't do well, such as unusual pricing, payment methods it doesn't support, complex integrations or full control of your code and data. We'll recommend the option that fits your goals and budget.

How much does e-commerce website development cost?

A store built as a Business Website, with payments and integrations, is $5,000 - $12,000. A custom store with its own admin, inventory rules, customer accounts and reporting falls under Custom App Development, at $18,000 - $50,000. Each phase has a fixed price, and you pay in four 25% milestone payments. Hosting and platform fees, such as a Shopify plan, are billed to you directly.

How long does it take to launch an e-commerce store?

A Shopify store, or a custom storefront with a modest catalog, usually takes 4-8 weeks. A custom store with accounts, inventory rules, an admin and reporting is closer to a custom app, which usually takes 3-6 months. You review each milestone on a staging or live site as we go.

Can you migrate my existing store to a new platform?

Yes. We can migrate your products, customers, orders and content from platforms like Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce or a custom build to Shopify or a custom storefront. We plan the switch to keep downtime to a minimum and redirect old URLs to help preserve your search visibility.

What payment methods can you integrate?

Card payments run through Stripe, PayPal or Square, whose PCI-compliant systems handle the card data. Through them we can add Apple Pay, Google Pay, subscriptions, or buy now, pay later options like Klarna. We've also built checkout without cards: Gas Lit Legacy's store takes Solana Pay crypto payments, plus Cash App, Venmo, PayPal and Zelle, which the owner marks paid once the money arrives.

How do you optimize for mobile commerce?

We design every page for the phone first. That means easy tap targets, readable text, images sized for the screen, and a short checkout with wallet payments like Apple Pay. We check speed with Lighthouse on mobile before launch.

Who owns the store when it's finished?

You do. After the final payment, the store's code, designs and data belong to you. Your domain is registered in your name, and hosting, database and email are billed to you directly. If a project starts on our accounts, we move it to yours whenever you ask. We may show non-confidential parts in our portfolio.

What kind of support do you provide after launch?

For at least a month after launch, and longer on larger stores, bug fixes cost nothing. After that you can book us by the hour or choose a monthly plan from $375 for 5 hours. That time can go to updates, new features or preparing for a big sale like Black Friday. We also watch your store's uptime and errors in the hosting and database dashboards.
