Can you build HIPAA-compliant software?
Yes. HIPAA has no official seal for software or developers; compliance belongs to your organization's whole program. We build the technical safeguards: encryption in transit and at rest, staff permissions checked on the server, row-level security that keeps each member to their own records, audit logs, and private file storage with short-lived links.
Will you sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA)?
Yes, before we work with protected health information, and we've signed them for union and health-fund clients. We'll sign your NDA too. HIPAA also expects a BAA with each vendor that stores health data, such as a hosting or database provider, so we plan for those during discovery.
Do you build software for health and welfare funds and health plans?

Yes. Bug fixes are free for at least a month after launch, and longer for larger projects: two to three months on the fund's member portal, to cover a full billing cycle. After that, support is hourly or a monthly plan from $375 for 5 hours, covering security updates, uptime and error monitoring, fixes and changes to your plan rules.
What about FDA rules for medical device software?
Software that counts as a medical device (SaMD) needs risk management, a quality management system, design controls and regulatory documentation. We'll flag early if your product may fall under FDA rules, and work alongside your regulatory advisor on what the build must document.
How do you migrate member or patient data?
We map each field from the old system or spreadsheet, run the import against a test copy first, and check record counts and samples against the source. Then we plan a cutover that keeps downtime to a minimum, with a way back if anything doesn't match.
